Missions

Missions at Calvary

Our focus on missions is to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who don't know Him as Lord and Savior.

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matt. 28:18-20

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

There are no limits in territory, people, places, or methods used to reach those who are lost; and God’s desire is that none should perish (II Peter 3:9). God has a specific plan for us, a direct call and a clear will for every person.

God's call to each individual is unique and specific to them. He uses their upbringing, surrounding environment, and experiences and couples them with His vision, goals and desires, to shape them into a unique tool for His hands to mold and guide and use as we see in Ephesians 2:10.

Luke Roodzant felt led to share the Good News of Jesus Christ when he was in High School. Luke would share with anyone who would listen and often stayed hours after school sharing with his fellow students. I know a number of evangelists and Luke is one of them. He has the heart of an evangelist. God has opened a door for Luke to become a Lead Coach with the National School Project. Please encourage Luke with your prayers and financial support.
