The Lord is Risen
It was very early on that Sunday morning when Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome were on their way to the tomb of Jesus. They were bringing spices to embalm His body. As they went, they were wondering whom they would get to roll the stone door away and were shocked to see it already opened. The tomb was empty, and a young man dressed in a white robe was sitting inside. “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him. But go, tell the disciples and Peter…” Got it? Well, go and tell…!
