Truth in Times Such as Ours
We live in our modern version of the wild west when everyone lives by their own version of the truth, with special caveats, definitions, crossed fingers, and winks of the eye. Jesus said, “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” But it seems our world is bent on being in bondage, given a preponderance of litigation to unmask lies or camouflage deception. Paul’s urgent letter to Timothy is a timely message for us to hold forth the truth in times such as ours.
